I'm not sure which idea you are talking about, but in general,<br>
refactoring does not mean that the code has to be converted to OOP (of<br>
course, it can be done this way).<br>

Have a look at <a href="http://wiki.phpmyadmin.net/pma/GSoC_2012_Ideas_List" target="_blank">http://wiki.phpmyadmin.net/pma/GSoC_2012_Ideas_List</a><br>
because the refactoring idea "data inserting / editing" has been<br>
modified. It's now "Refactoring: Insert/edit, Privileges, Operations,<br>
Structure" because the refactoring tasks for these scripts should cover<br>
12 weeks.<br>
