<div dir="ltr">Hi,<div><br></div><div>I was looking into <a href="https://sourceforge.net/p/phpmyadmin/bugs/4527/">bug #4527</a>. While searching in MySQL documentation, I found [0] which clearly states that</div><div>"Database, table, and column names cannot end with space characters".</div>
<div>So what should be done in this case:</div><div><br></div><div>Should PMA automatically trim the trailing space characters and resume the import process?</div><div><br></div><div>Or</div><div><br></div><div>We should leave the scenario as it is i.e. let MySQL throw an error because there are many other constraints on the identifiers which also need to be checked?</div>
