Current trunk has some "small" new features and a number of patches. I suggest going to 3.2.0-beta soon in order to stabilize this code.
This way, the Summer of Code stuff would go into 3.3. Opinions?
I agree to open up trunk to GSoC code as soon as possible, what means to fork next stable release, because these features will need lot of time to stabilize.
