Seems you are using a proxy.
The ssh command itself is not able to use a proxy in order to access external computers.

Try reading this http://sinhaakash.wordpress.com/2011/03/10/tunneling-ssh-when-using-a-proxy-for-bzrlaunchpad-usage-in-linux/
it will help.

Hi,

I have created my repository http://repo.or.cz/r/phpmyadmin/ammar_yasir.git/  but I'm not able to push anything to it.  I keep getting the error

ssh: connect to host repo.or.cz port 22: Connection refused
fatal: The remote end hung up unexpectedly

I have given myself the push privileges and configured my proxy setting in git. What is going wrong?

Regards,
Ammar Yasir
