I feel that the pull request [3] for this issue is ready to merge. I've
tested
on a server having more than 5000 databases with DisableIS set to
true and the performance is quite acceptable.

Great. I suggest to merge, then you could ask J.M. for credentials on
his test server (which points to master) with more databases (or I can
share with Madhura the credentials that J.M. gave me).
