Can an applicant add ideas from multiple categories ( e.g. i would like to add from both ui improvements and feature enhancements) or only a single category, in their proposal?

Dear Sir,

I am a first year B.Tech student of Electronics and Communication
Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee (IIT Roorkee). I
would like to contribute to the Synchronization idea. I have a good
knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, Javascript, JQuery, C++, Ajax and I am
familiar with MVC application architecture and UX. I have also worked with
git and a have contibuted in making a ebook library for our college which
uses a great amount of PHP.

Can you please tell from where should I begin?

Thank You

Hello,
I was trying to implement the feature request #1359
http://sourceforge.net/p/phpmyadmin/feature-requests/1359/ and I searched
for many JS grid editors and finally I thought to use Handsontable (
handsontable.com) grid editor. It is very light weight and also have so
many options which brings a lot of flexibility while editing data in
phpMyAdmin. I want to know how it was implemented in the current version,
so that while making changes I won't disturb other modules.

I have also submitted a pull request
https://github.com/phpmyadmin/phpmyadmin/pull/1573 which enables an option
to switch to dark theme in console and also some minor ui bug fixes in
designer but the Codacy check is failed because of not using camel case for
PMA_console.config which is already defined and I don't want to change the
names of the object as it will break the code. However it is showing
failed. Please have a look into that pull request

Thank you

Hi all,

As per the discussion on the recent team meeting [1] I have started working
on updating metro theme to be compatible with phpMyAdmin 4.4 and you can
find what I've done so far at [2]. I am basically going through all the
commits that had some style/image change since 2013 and adapting them to
metro them to make sure nothing is missed.

Hi Madhura,

I have worked on Metro theme and developed a few projects on Metro theme
from scratch. I would like to contribute to this. Please let me know on
which part I can contribute to this metro theme.

Thanks.

No, I haven't made any theme for phpmyadmin, but I have made Metro UI
themes for other projects. As I have experience in metro (flat) design, I
just wanted to contribute to the metro theme of phpmyadmin. Sorry for the
confusion. So let me know if there is some part of the theme that needs to
be worked upon and so, and I'd contribute on that.
