Hi,<br> <br>Marc i am still using the old version ,so have not seen the Designer feature of the latest version will check that.<br>anyways if the designer feature has been added in the new versions then we can use it for the query builder .<br>

thanks for the suggestion Neeraj, yes we can find Some Good existing open Source builder.<br><br>Main thing on which i want to concentrate is the GUI part. As PMA is used by many novice Users and they have very little idea and knowledge in writing SQL  queries the interface should be very user friendly ,so that every one can easily use this tool<br>

Hi,<br>i have used phpMyadmin for few of my projects,but the  query builder tool provided is not very user friendly and has a limited scope<br>I wish to add a query-builder for phpMyAdmin which will be powered by javascript  and will also show the <b>Relational Schema diagram</b> for our database.<br>




<br>A good GUI support will be provided with this extension so developers can easily select the  attributes from various tables in the database diagram and generate SQL query.<br>with this extension JOINS and other complex query can be easily written.<br>




<br>further this project can be extended and we can build Data-Objects in our Schema where query builder will generate all queries as different functions and we can add this file in our main code and use these function.<br>




<br>Anyone here to discuss the idea?<br>
