A research in groups.google.com showed that there is a practical limit of about 32K for textareas. Over 32K, results are not guaranteed.
So I guess I'll mark this bug as closed.
What do you think of this: if the textarea string value is over 32K, I show a message next to it: "Because of its length, this field might not be editable".

Hi,
doing research about this bug (editing large blobs), I was able to see a TEXT field of 1,030,000 bytes in the textarea.
However, I can't type or modify anything in the TEXTAREA.
Anyone has an idea why?
