Hi,
The RFE #1490 says "In Server > Status > Processes, it would be interesting to add a button to start dynamic refreshing of the process list, with a configurable refresh rate like in Server > Status > Monitor
Settings."
Does it mean the processes table on Server > Status > Server tab?
Yes, that's correct. It's the bottom part of [1], where it says
"Processes"
Also, does it require to refresh the processes table only or the other table such as Traffic statistics and Connections with it?
The idea is that we want the processes list to refresh, to be able to quickly see active processes.
Would it be cleaner to move the Processes section into its own Processes tab, producing this?
Server Processes All status variables Monitor Advisor
That can also be done. I would like to ask one more thing, doing the automatic refresh at certain intervals might produce some traffic between web server and mysql server because we have to run query "show processlist" or "show full processlist" everytime we refresh. So, it will be good to add a notice about this similar to what is shown in Server > Databases tab i.e. something like this: "Note: Enabling the auto refresh here might cause heavy traffic between the web server and the MySQL server." Any suggestion about this.
Looks like a good idea to me.
I think these should also update. However, Marc created the feature request and perhaps he has a comment?
