this is the intended behavior of PMA_linkOrButton(). The limit is hard-coded to 1000 chars.

on my two test systems running win php 5.2 and rh 7.3 and fedora 5 with php 5.1.4 i get wired results
have this php.ini settings enabled
arg_separator.input ;& ;& arg_separator.output ; ;
can anyone confirm?
