Can you raise an issue at https://github.com/phpmyadmin/phpmyadmin/issues mentioning which theme you are referring to?

Something seems to be bugged about this setting now after an update no that long ago I believe. The screenshots of the themes show the background being edited on some of them so I’m sure it’s supposed to be working. Just wanna make it darker 😊
