I&#39;ve collected some information for<a href="http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&amp;aid=3196075&amp;group_id=23067&amp;atid=377411"> Server variables and settings page help - ID: 3196075</a>.<br>

I suggest that we apply the first paragraph of each variable&#39;s detailed 
description as a basic description, and display it in the title 
attribute or with one JQuery tooltip plugin.<br>
<br>
Linking all the variable to the same page might not be a good idea, 
because description of the variables are shown in different pages,namely
 9 pages. But we can easily get the exact links from the main page, and 
attach the variable with those links.<br>
<br>
However, I still have some questions:<br>
<br>
1. how should we store the description and links? by creating a new table?<br>
<br>
2. Which variables are performance-critical ?<br>
<br>
