someone tell me if you can convert with sync_lang.sh the chinese files. If no developer can, I will remove the 2 chinese lines from sync_lang.sh.
The chinese translator sends us the converted files.

I also tried to convert it with a php script I wrote, but it failed, too. It seems as if the iconv library itself has some problems with the conversion.

Yes, and recode 3.6 also chokes on this file. I asked a recode developer about this.
