here is the correct german translation file
http://www.21st-clan.de/dl/deutsch.zip einfach die vorhandene german.inc.php mit dieser ersetzen und die Umlaute werden richtig dargestellt!
just replace the actual file with mine, and the accents will be displayed correctely...

No, the current lang file has more than 280 translated strings and the deutsch.zip has only 120. I think the author has translate an old phpMyAdmin Version.
