Hello, I am a first year Software Engineering student and I would like to take on the Statistics project posted on your idea list.
Even though I have not worked with the code base of PMA before, I have used the app for quite some time, and I do have some experience with PHP and MySQL (if needed, I will send the code of the one larger-than-a-few-lines-of-code project I have worked on - a very simple attempt at a CMS).

Especially important is to know our codebase before and showing that by providing some patches where we can see your work on it.
