question about translating: someone explain how/ where overhead is used? i cannot produce it.

Have a look at section of the MySQL manual about the "OPTIMIZE" syntax (http://www.mysql.com/doc/O/P/OPTIMIZE_TABLE.html). "Overhead" is the space related to the "deleted records that are maintained in a linked list". To have this string displayed, just delete a record from a table and move to this table properties page.
