Hi,
I just translated CREDITS, DEVELOPERS, INSTALL and TODO in French (french
speakers can have a look at www.brissaud.com/phpmyadmin and make comments ...
just don't be too harsh ;-) ).
Few question :
1) Should we distribute this translated files in the main tarball or have a
separate translation pack ?
2) Should only documentation.html be translated ?
3) May be we should make a doc subdirectory if doc grows too much (20+ langages
in lang ...) ?!
4) Is anyone working on french translation of documentation.html 'cause I don't
want to duplicate efforts ?

I would say (just my opinion, please comment!) :
- we add a /docs directory
- per language an en/, fr/, it/, etc. subdirectory
- and in /docs/index.html the list of translated languages + link to the files
And yes, just documentation.html would be enough, because it includes
quite all the other files.

not yet, but maybe we should finalize the english version before starting
to work on translations ?
