Yes, it does. The problem that isn't fixed yet is when 'special characters' are used inline (inside the textarea). Unfortunatly I don't have much free time to work on this bug at current.

It would maybe nice to have a kind of "test suite" : I heard from a few customers that there were still some problems.

See bug #421889: there is a beginning of a teste suite.
