I think we should drop links to phpMyAdmin 2.2.7-pl1 (latest version tested with PHP < 4.1.0 and MySQL < 3.23.32). The problem is that we do not provide security update for those, so I do not thing it should be advertised so much. And anyway, who now uses so old versions?
I think it could stay (a bit hidden) on bottom on download page, but nowhere else.

Done. I even removed the links on download page. There is still the link about "older versions".
