maybe we could setup a kind of "test-suit" for phpmyadmin releases ? A kind of checklist, with checks for every feature, on a predefined database.

My "corrections" for this bug on both trees are removed.
A test suite? Maybe... but in this case, a brave soul would have to maintain an old MySQL server just for testing ;)
