Can anybody tell me that the project Charts in Server Status page which was proposed in gsoc 2010 has been completed or not?

Yes it's now part of the "master" branch for the future 3.4 release. See http://demo.phpmyadmin.net/ (development version).
I found only the query statistics chart in the demo but there are no server traffic charts which was also a part of that project. And I guess due to collection of data it was not implemented. so somebody still implementing it or it has been discarded?

Indeed, due to issues about collection of data, server traffic charts were discarded.
