I am very interested to participate in GSOC. I don't know where to start. I read lot about this. is this too late to participate in GSOC?

It's not too late - Google is accepting applications from *organizations* right now. We have applied and we will publish details for students if we get accepted.
Thanks for replay.
Now i am going with pmaterial theme to make compatible with 4.7.
After finishing theme will start with new idea.
