[Phpmyadmin-translators] preparing for 2.9.0: IEC standard prefixes

Hi, we are not ready to ask for translations regarding version 2.9.0; here is just an information about an ongoing change. We are switching to binary prefixes (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Binary_prefix) according to the IEC (recommended in 1999). Some languages have been changed, for example in English: $byteUnits = array('B', 'KiB', 'MiB', 'GiB', 'TiB', 'PiB', 'EiB'); Please have this in mind when preparing your changes for 2.9.0. It's more efficient for us if you do not post immediately changes for 2.9.0 (HEAD branch in CVS); please wait our message. P.S. other 2.8.x versions should not have any new messages. Marc Delisle
