@kingu thank you for bringing this up. The whole thing is poorly worded, even in the documentation. It refers specifically to the table phpMyAdmin uses as part of the advanced Configuration Storage feature for managing user groups. https://docs.phpmyadmin.net/en/latest/config.html#cfg_Servers_users and https://docs.phpmyadmin.net/en/latest/privileges.html#configurablemenus.

I raised an issue at https://github.com/phpmyadmin/phpmyadmin/issues/16489 to improve this in the code.

The best answer I can offer is that it is "The table used to hold user accounts for managing the user group feature", hope that helps.
