It isn't neceassarily a bad idea, but we have to do it right.

Here's the thing:

I run under Linux. Navigator/Mozilla under Linux doesn't have a Flash 5
plugin, only Flash 4. Everytime I go to a site that detects the Flash plugin
it complains because I don't have Flash 5, and everytime I tell it to go ahead
anyways the Flash works just fine.

As long as the Flash menu only uses Flash 4 constructs we'll be fine, and we
can tune the detection code for 4 or higher.
