[Phpmyadmin-devel] phpMyAdmin 2.2.6 is released!

Hi,

The development team is pleased to announce the availability of
phpMyAdmin 2.2.6, intended to be a reference version.  Our next efforts
will be in the area of  new features, for the next major version
(probably 2.3.0).

Special note:
-------------
        The config file is now using a dynamic variable instead of the
constants
        1, 2, 3... to represent the server number.

Some improvements
--------------------
        - mark row improvement
        - support for non-numeric key and blanks within the key, in the
'relation' feature
        - new feature: check referential integrity
        - get last modified date and time of the compressed file
        - insert new row feature is now sticky
        - Select page: dynamic size for the fields list
        - Improved CSS
        - add titles for images and labels for checkboxes and
radiobuttons
        - badword list updated and made MySQL 4 compatible
        - better compatibility with older config file
        - most popular column types are now first in the list
        - various language updates
        - new languages: latvian, indonesian, lithuanian, serbian,
georgian

Some fixes:
-----------
        - superusers can't change passwords
        - can't change hosts in user profile
        - sometimes a user can't see the db list
        - bookmarks are saved on the wrong server
        - js error when setting BLOB to NULL
        - MSIE, PHP 4.1.1 and cookies (FAQ)
        - DOCTYPE and line feeds
        - Netscape and clicking in the textarea
        - typo which triggered some undefined variables
        - better support for MySQL 3.22.x
        - checkall / uncheckall
        - wrong interval was displayed at browse mode
        - field properties couldn't be changed if the field name
contains localized characters
        - wrong default Cyrillic encoding for bulgarian
        - privileges problem when db name contains a literal underscore
