I wrote to Google (via feedback at Google Ads) and even though I didn't get 
any reply yet, it looks like it had some effect - there is no more 
"phpMyAdmin GUI version", but only "MySQL GUI Front End" and on searching 
phpMyAdmin you don't get their ads at all.
