[Phpmyadmin-devel] about using a function (like _()) for locales instead of $string

Hi,

if we would use a function for locale strings we could automatically add
<span xml:lang="en" dir="ltr"></span> to not translated strings, avoiding
display problems in RTL languages, and problems with screen readers
