A new message could be considered (or is part of) a new feature, but
what about typos, wrong messages or badly formulated existing
messages?

I'm not entirely sure, but when changing just one character in a
message, is it considered a new message when regenerating the po
files, or does gettext notice it's only a small change to an existing
message and keep the translations of the original message attached to
it?

Kind regards,

Dieter
