Hi Tyron,

It's convenient you can use your work on GSoC for your thesis as well! :)

What kind of feedback do you expect? Structural and content related
comments? Or also typos and layout issues?
I skimmed the first pages and I noticed you use references (to
phpMyAdmin, Google, Facebook), but f.e. you didn't put a reference
(news item, commit, ...) next to the statement that the latter two
submitted performance related patches to MySQL. I believe it is
customary in academic papers to add references for every
statement/claim you use. Do you have to do this?
