I sent a PR for this "bug":
https://github.com/phpmyadmin/phpmyadmin/pull/1149
In fact, I would prefer that is a bug and that we can solve it, so I can
fix this other bug https://sourceforge.net/p/phpmyadmin/bugs/4070/ easily.
