Yes it looks great. I was shown similar datatable behavior with Adobe Flex but I prefer going the way of YUI.
The YUI license http://developer.yahoo.com/yui/license.html permits redistribution under what they call a "BSD license". This license looks to me like a "modified BSD license" which is listed as being GPL-compatible http://www.gnu.org/philosophy/license-list.html.
