Welcome to the mailing list. I suggest you keep poking around the issue
list (not all easy fixes have been tagged with newbie, sometimes they
slip through the cracks), or look for one where there hasn't been
activity in a while (i.e. someone has stated they plan to work on it,
but that was three weeks ago). I think one week is a reasonable time to
wait for someone to finish their work on it, after that we should allow
others like you an opportunity.
