any objection to move the "Create new database" dialog to the top of the Databases page, just under the title "Databases" ?
This is to avoid a vertical scroll for those who have to create many databases and already have many.
Target is 3.4.2.

Yes, it's safe but as 3.4.1-rc1 has been released and users have not seen this change in it, I think it's better to delay to 3.4.2.
This way we'll avoid surprises and at the same time avoid delaying 3.4.1 final.

Maybe, but when statistics are enabled, we have less space to the right.
Putting it on top would make it more prominent, IMO.
