[Phpmyadmin-devel] Create database dialog

Hi, any objection to move the "Create new database" dialog to the top of the Databases page, just under the title "Databases" ? This is to avoid a vertical scroll for those who have to create many databases and already have many. Target is 3.4.2. -- Marc Delisle http://infomarc.info

Okay for me (I'd say this is safe even for 3.4.1). -- Michal Čihař | http://cihar.com | http://phpmyadmin.cz

Yes, it's safe but as 3.4.1-rc1 has been released and users have not seen this change in it, I think it's better to delay to 3.4.2. This way we'll avoid surprises and at the same time avoid delaying 3.4.1 final. -- Marc Delisle http://infomarc.info

No.

Was there a request about this?

What about having it float to the right and the databases table float to the left?

Maybe, but when statistics are enabled, we have less space to the right. Putting it on top would make it more prominent, IMO. -- Marc Delisle http://infomarc.info

With enabled stats, I don't have any space next to the database list... -- Michal Čihař | http://cihar.com | http://phpmyadmin.cz

Oh right. I didn't see that.
