Hello all!
I want to commit the label spacing patch I prepared a few weeks ago, as well as some CSS tweaks so that themes are better styleable.
Please look at http://garv.info/cvs/spaces2.diff
Added to that I am in the process of creating a theme, mostly to practice our new theme-system. An early version can be downloaded at http://garv.info/cvs/garvblue.tgz -- but it relies on the changes made above. The CSS still has some of the old nav-code in it, which I think can also be partially removed in the 'original' layout.
Tell me what you think, Garvin.
Hi Garvin, looks ok to me, please merge (in HEAD only).
For the themes, we could put additional themes on the downloads page of phpmyadmin.net.
P.S. For this downloads page, I suggest we keep there only:
- the 2 latest stable versions - 2.2.7-pl1 - the themes download area - the CVS section

I'd recommend separate page, which would allow people to upload their themes. There are already two laying in patch tracker. But it would require somebody to write it :-).

the rest sounds reasonable + link to sf page where are all previous

Allow people to upload their themes? I am not really in favor. First, we have a quota on SourceForge's server; also, I *really* think a developer should have a look on the theme before.

Ok I will change the page today.

Hmm, and how about using http://themes.freshmeat.net? :-) Asking them to add phpMyAdmin category should not be a problem.
Anyway if we don't choose this, themes should not be mixed between downloads, I thing we will have many of them (sorry there are already three in tracker, I didn't check it last two days :-).

How about creating a new Themes tracker on our project page? This way, people could post themes, comment on themes, etc. And it would not count in our quota on the shell server ;)
Downloads page on phpmyadmin.net could then point to this tracker.

You can't add screenshots there and it is for themes quite important thing :-)

Okay, I just committed it.
How should I proceed with the CSS-theme? Reading your answers you seem to prefer not bundling any more themes, which I think is a good thing.
I favor the option to create a 'Themes' tracker. I think we could then write up a PHP script which reads all 'approved' themes and then opens the attachments to display them seperately. Such a script could create a HTML page with thumbnails every day or so. And yes, I'm volunteering to write up that script as soon as we have the new tracker and you agree. :-)
Regards, Garvin.
