Help regarding GIS editor and Open Layers in phpMyAdmin

Hi, I am Piyush Vijay, a contributor in the phpMyAdmin open source. I was working on the JavaScript code refactoring of the phpMyAdmin code-base as a GSOC-18 project. I was trying to refactor the *GIS editor* part and the *Oper layers library* part related to the plotting of maps for the geographical points data. But I am not having that much idea about this part of phpMyAdmin nor having any dataset for which I can use the GIS editor and Open layers map. So anyone can help me in this regard so that I can make changes in the code related to these two things. The demo server has a database that you can use to test the GIS editor. https://demo.phpmyadmin.net/master-config/db_structure.php?db=opengis
