Hi,
I was wondering, what kind of patch do we have to submit before 10th. Can fixing any bugs and implementing any feature request be considered there or do we have to implement the ones that are in the idea list?
i had asked same kind of question few days back and the answer was that the one's in the idea list are specifically meant for GSoC and i can implement other feature request.
Thanks Ayush

You can fix any bug or implement any feature request; however, it would be better to do something related to your chosen idea.
For example, for a refactoring idea, show us your refactoring skills by refactoring a few lines of code from phpMyAdmin's code base.

Does there have to be a special patch before the 10th? Or any of the recent contributions/patches we have made in the past will count? Contests, etc?

Yes, the past counts; this is one of the reasons we ran the contest.
