I had a small mail conversation with clay, and his project is looking very
great. I installed PMA via his pearified channel without problems and think this
is a very nice addition to spreading PMA. Mostly because it makes updating so
incredible easy (if people have server access, that is).

So IMHO we should do all things possible to support the PEARify process. Though
I think there's not much to do for us apart from notifying Clay upon new
releases. And we might want to think about only shipping that config.inc.dist
instead of the PHP file...
