i don't think so, i would prefer this types of icon in the default 
theme, one good reason: we could make use of the svg images (wether by 
detection or by a configuration switch) making it more easy to make PMA 
more WAI conform

btw. i don't like this Microsoft Access style icons much ...

and this icons are designed by GUI specialists - i think they know what 
they are doing and why.

if we implement this icons (whenever) we could rename the current theme 
to 'classic'
