Hi Michael,

glad to read you'll be back on the project!

Those ideas are exciting, but I think that they should go in 2.7.1. 
Right now we should be busy stabilizing for 2.7.0-beta1 scheduled on 
2005-11-06.

Message freeze will occur on 2005-10-23.

If we open QA_2_7_0 right now, I'm afraid we will have much duplicate 
work to do for bug fixing (there are show-stoppers right now in the bug 
tracker), so I would like to open it only on 2005-10-30. Then you (and 
others) could start playing on HEAD.

Unless someone objects and finds that adjusting themes (the current way) 
for 2.7.0 is too complex.
