Maybe PMA does not hint correctly the client? In Arabic, we have
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="ar" lang="ar" 
dir="rtl">

but
<select name="lang" onchange="this.form.submit();" xml:lang="en" dir="ltr">

I wonder why we are forcing dir="ltr" in this case
(display_select_lang.lib.php)
