Hi,

I've collected some information for Server variables and settings page help
- ID: 3196075<http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=3196075&group_id=23067&atid=377411>
.

I suggest that we apply the first paragraph of each variable's detailed
description as a basic description, and display it in the title attribute or
with one JQuery tooltip plugin.

Linking all the variable to the same page might not be a good idea, because
description of the variables are shown in different pages, namely 9 pages.
But we can easily get the exact links from the main page, and attach the
variable with those links.

However, I still have some questions:

1. how should we store the description and links? by creating a new table?

2. Which variables are performance-critical ?

3. should we change the links according to the language or version in the
future?

Best Regards,

Dennis Chen
