[Phpmyadmin-devel] How to start

no, I haven't picked any bug, I am at just beginning level and need some
guide to start. I downloaded the source code and ran on localhost, it shows
the index.php page asking about username and password. If i am doing wrong,
please let me know. I need a start up guide.
