Hi, thanks for the reply. Actually, I’ve solved my problem. I got curl installed and going and then my configuration worked. I’m now receiving information regarding the latest stable release and or getting an up to date notice. What I’m referring to is in the notification in the front page phpMyAdmin panel.
Thanks again,
Greg

I’m having difficulties configuring phpMyAdmin to allow versioning display for latest stable release information. I don’t want to bother this list with questions that have probably been answered a long time ago. So my question for now is this. Is there a way to search the list archives by subject matter or do I need to browse through each archive bundle and hunt for information?
Thanks in advance…
Greg

Hi Greg,
If you are looking for the release information, 'news' mailing lists [1] is probably the best place compared to the 'devel' (this) mailing list. It is a low volume mailing list mostly about releases.
