Hi
as an example for export plugins, I hacked export to Texy![1] format. However now I can not decide whether it is worth of inclusion in phpMyAdmin. You can see sample output in Texy! demo[2] (textarea contains exported text, bellow it is rendered by Texy!).
What do you think? Should I commit it or not? :-)

No, it's different (but there are some similarities).

Do you think this is (or will become) a popular format?

This is quite popular format in various CMS written in PHP. Google knows about same number of pages about it as for NHibernate ;-).

So please commit it. I don't think it's justified currently to create an infrastructure for separate import or export plugins, although in the future it might become interesting (and we could easily remove them from the main distribution).

Okay, commited.

Maybe some kind of repository for exotic export plugins would be an idea - just like we have for themes we receive from the community. I could imagine that there are a lot of possible export targets out there that are not of general use and cannot be maintained by the dev team.

Alexander

It might be a good solution.
