I think that selecting the first row from a table could lead to performance issues. Like when you have a table having about 1MB binary data in a blog in the row, the database would have to fetch all data if understand correctly. Hi, On the Select sub-page (which I suggest we rename Search), I often have this problem: I enter some criteria, hit Go, and get results. But if I want to refine criteria, I cannot go back to my initial page. We could - display results in another window - display results in the same window, but have a link to go back to the initial page, with chosen criteria in place - display the criteria and the results on the same page Comments please. Hi, I find this a valuable addition. However, I suggest we use 'cookie' mode for it. The server choice list could be always expanded to add a choice like "other...", and when it is chosen, the field to enter the server name would be made visible. One less choice for configuration, keeps things more simple, avoid maintaining a seperated "arbitrary" script. Marc

Hi Nijel! I'm too lazy to get the correct sourceforge-Tracker item to my screen so I'm posting this here: Generally I like the ability to sorty by index, but the current placement takes away too much interface space, IMHO. How about splitting the dropdown up into two: [key] [DESC/ASC] and place it as a new column in the table display. I mean just on the right side of the table headers, where we can already sort by existing fields. There it would have a better context and won't take up too much place. I don't like how nearly half of the screen is taken away by dropdowns etc. before the actual content comes to screen... BTW: Your arbitrary server patch rocks!!!
