phpMyAdmin
Hi,
Olaf has pointed out some documentation that could use improvement
regarding the directives $cfg['BrowseMarkerEnable'] ,
$cfg['NavigationTreePointerEnable'] , and $cfg['BrowsePointerEnable']
I've started researching these and I'm having trouble using these
features. Is anyone familiar with these directives? I'm mostly looking
for confirmation whether they aren't working for me because they're
broken in the code or because something is wrong with my installation.
I believe these directives are related:
$cfg['BrowsePointerBackground']
$cfg['BrowsePointerColor']
$cfg['BrowseMarkerBackground']
$cfg['BrowseMarkerColor']

Hi all,
First of all, I would like to thank the whole phpMyAdmin team and my
mentor, Isaac, for selecting my project proposal 'Feature Request
Enhancements' for GSoC 2015. I hope that I do good and complete the tasks
well and well before deadlines.
Now, formally introducing myself to the community:
I am Deven Bansod, a third year student currently pursuing a dual degree in
M.Sc. Economics (Hons.) + B.E. (Hons.) Computer Science from Birla
Institute of Technology and Sciences, Pilani, India.
The project I will be working on over the summer is : Feature Request
Enhancments[0] mentored by Isaac Bennetch.
It covers implementing the following 11 RFEs : RFE #657, #1485, #342,
#1594, #946, #746, #1060, #1396, #1359, #701, #1163 over the summer
starting May 25th.
The details regarding the project are also available on my blog[2].
My Repo fork is available here[1]. All the changes will be pushed to this.
I do occasionally blog and the blog is available here[2].
All the weekly status reports will be posted on the blog. As suggested in
the Student guide, I have already posted my project description on the blog.
Let me know if you have any suggestions/ remarks.
Hope to have a great summer ahead with phpMyAdmin ! :)
Thanks again.

Hey phpMyAdmin,
I have made appropriate changes to my proposal. Was just confirming if you
will assess it, given I did it a little late (yesterday). This regarding fr
more plain configuration for icon link destinations.
Thank you.
On google timeline ,the period till 27 April is reserved for organisation's
review of the proposals. And ,nothing is mentioned to be done during this
period on phpmyadmin GSOC 2015 site.
Is it ok if I do not work on bugs and feature requests right now, as I have
some other college commitments to attend to?
Also, I have not received any comments on my proposal on melange's site. Is
it normal, or did I make any mistake in the process or proposal ?
