I wonder if the "Tracking" db and table menu tab should be replaced by a link, either under Structure or Operations. I would be tempted to move Designer as a link under Structure but it's been as a menu tab for a while so I don't know. Maybe a "Files" menu could lead to Export - Import - Backup - Restore (these last two being future items probably in 3.4)? If so, should we start to implement another level of menus? -- Marc Delisle http://infomarc.info

Hi, I had a look at the bug tracker and found no new bugs introduced in 3.3.0 that are still unfixed. Release candidate 1 got more than 10000 downloads so I think that this week-end we could release the final 3.3.0 (and skip releasing 3.2.6). -- Marc Delisle http://infomarc.info

Hi, in 3.4 we now have a "Create new table" message in navi. We already have "Create new table on database" in main frame. I believe that "create" and "new" is redundant. I propose to change the navi message to "Create table" and the main one to "Create table in database". -- Marc Delisle http://infomarc.info

Hi as I got some questions from possible new developers where to start, I started a wiki page which should list feature request, which should not be too hard to implement and should not require too deep knowledge of all phpMyAdmin code. If you have some free time, please go through feature requests and add the ones which you think that fit into this category. [Phpmyadmin-devel] Git is ready for testing

Hi all As promised on FOSDEM (though slightly later) I just pushed all our history to the git repositories. Every existing top level directory got a separate repository in Git (as I don't think it makes sense to mix them together). I want to ask to see what do you think about this idea... I have realized that normalization of the tables it's very important because, it allows that does not exist data repeating and data base will not show logic problems. I want to make a tool that help to user to create normalized tables, this will guide to the user step by step indicating what does it need to do...i have a example, can i send you?

[Phpmyadmin-devel] Demo server provides MariaDB

Hi all I just installed another virtual server to demo system and it now also provides MariaDB. MariaDB was taken from builds provided by <http://ourdelta.org/debian/>.
