Hi,
When I choose a db, I see the db details. But then I choose a table,
and I can't go back easily to db details.
Before, there was a link in left frame with the db name.

Hi Guys,
I was just trying to throw something together (A little script to display
my current winamp/xmms mp3 on a webpage), and for the life of me, I could
not find the 'Create Database' link. I am sure there used to be one on
main.php3 page, does anybody know what happened to it?
(I capitulated and used a raw SQL query myself in the meantime).

Hello,
attached you find a patch (two files) for 2.2.3 which changes the
BrowsePointer behaviour: now a row gets marked when you click on
it, and un-marked when you click on it again. It does not trigger
un-marking of other marked rows, as this would have been fairly too
difficult for me now and it perhaps could be useful to have the
possibility to mark several rows at a time, e.g. for comparing
reasons. Hope you like it and therefore could perhaps include this
funcionality in the next release or something. Maybe you'd want it
for 2.2.4-cvs? Then just drop me a line (haven't tried this one yet).
Thanks.

Since we define valid charset definitions in the code
we should not use html entities.

Hi Steve,
we just got a patch to convert those characters to html entities. I see
that in version 1.49
of german.inc.php3 you did just the reverse. Can you, or anyone,
comment on this?
Marc
Hi Marc & list!
This bug is fixed in the CVS tree.

Voila, commited my update to the cvs just a minute ago... Now
there will be a lot of work to improve it... :)
Here a small TODO:
- better fonts & html, code cleanup
- add lang strings for leftlight.php specific messages
- javascript: update both frames on DB selection
- give the user the possibility to choose between the
"standard" and the "light" view.
Comments of course welcome...

Olivier,
I thought that the latest modification was about the checkboxes, now I
realize that it is to
select all the tables. Maybe it would be better to add a message
Select all / Unselect all
as suggested by the author of the patch...
Marc
Hi Guys,
Loic originally submitted this patch some while ago, and I think that
implementing it would be a good idea to make life easier for the high
level sysadmins. I haven't tried to apply it against the tree yet, but
just a few ideas I had on it that I would like to mention.
First, this would need ideally get it's own database to run against, say
'phpMyAdmin' (I already have such a database for my bookmarked queries).
In addition, there is a lot of extra things that could be implemented best
with a proper database instead of using the configuration file still.
Feature #484158 is a good example of something that would become a LOT
easier to implement with such a system available.
If everybody else thinks that such a large scale feature would be
appropriate in phpMyAdmin, I would be willing to implement it, as I have a
newfound need for it myself.
