Hi,
I have received some code that would make sense merging, but it uses a
library that is licensed under the Apache license (v2).
Now, the fun part is that the position of the Apache Foundation:
http://www.apache.org/foundation/licence-FAQ.html#GPL
differs from the position of the FSF:
http://www.gnu.org/licenses/license-list.html#GPLIncompatibleLicenses
about the compatibility of the two licenses.
Has someone ever dealt with a case like this?
(You remember that we removed some non-GPL code in 2006 from our code base.)

Hi,
is there an option to select a file from a user directory to be filled
into a field?
if so, than tbl_replace_fields.inc.php handles this, but it uses
move_uploaded_file() on this file, did anybody test this this?
does this work?
move_uploaded_file() should only work on files uploaded by form ...

Hi,
I wonder if we should stop to offer the MYSQL40 mode in export, or at
the very least display a big warning about it. In this mode, MySQL
creates a dump that removes the auto_increment clause for the primary key!
Marc
Welcome to the MySQL monitor. Commands end with ; or \g.
Your MySQL connection id is 358345 to server version: 5.0.21-standard
mysql> show create table bug1607282;
CREATE TABLE `bug1607282` (
`id` int(11) NOT NULL auto_increment,
`description` varchar(100) NOT NULL,
PRIMARY KEY (`id`)
) ENGINE=MyISAM DEFAULT CHARSET=latin1
mysql> set sql_mode=MYSQL40;
mysql> show create table bug1607282;
CREATE TABLE `bug1607282` (
`id` int(11) NOT NULL,
`description` varchar(100) NOT NULL,
PRIMARY KEY (`id`)
) TYPE=MyISAM
When I have my work in a state worth testing (I'm getting there) is there a
specific way that you guys use to test updates?
Also as an update, I'm looking to add AJAX to some, if not all of the
following areas;
Searching (similar to live search on on other sites)
Inserting Records (allow inserting multiple easier etc.)
AJAX backed Query builder
Editing text in place for fields/tables
I realise these don't really describe what i mean, but it should give most
of you some idea. If i have missed out a section that you think would be
really good with AJAX. Please let me know.
Probably some changes will be made to that list. As many of these can be
used or not be used as you all see fit in the end. I don't mind.
